I always wanted to work with German. When I succeeded to meet him personally at various jewelry exhibitions, I annoyed him with terrible force and passion, but with exactly zero sense from that.
My failure had a simple and objective reason: I had wanted to shoot embellishments, he never had made. His jewelry is generally about something else, and shooting them as an ordinary piece of precious stones and metals is completely wrong.
Since then, I have changed countries, taken a serious break from photography in favor of a career as a village locksmith, and have just returned to my old business.
